Heel Chair by Nendo:
Heel chair est une conception du studio japonais Nendo il a créé cette chaire en collaboration avec la marque italienne Moroso. La chaise tire son nom de la forme des pattes arrière et le dossier qui ressemble à la silhouette d’un talon aiguille.

The line of the back legs and their connection to the backrest give this chair the silhouette of a spike heel.
Parabola Chair by Carlo Aiello:
L’intention de la conception du Parabola Chair par le designer Carlo Aiello basé à Los Angeles était de créer une chaise encore très sculptural simple et poreux. Le défi était de parvenir à une seule surface qui sert de siège, accoudoir, et le dossier pris en charge par une structure minimaliste. Bien que la chaise présente courbures dans deux directions (paraboloïde hyperbolique) tous ses composants sont simples et faciles à fabriquer. Afin d’atteindre un confort parfait des deux courbures ont été soigneusement calibrés pour tenir le corps dans la meilleure position.
Description of designer:
The design intention of the Parabola Chair by Los Angeles-based product designer Carlo Aiello was to create a simple and porous yet highly sculptural chair. The challenge was to achieve a single surface that serves as seating, armrest, and backrest supported by a minimal structure. Although the chair exhibits curvatures in two directions (hyperbolic paraboloid) all its components are straight and easy to manufacture. In order to achieve perfect comfort both curvatures were carefully calibrated to hold the body in the best position.
